Ugandan Princess Keeps Identity Secret from Fiance

| December 10, 2012

On November 17, 2012, 23 year-old Ugandan princess, Ruth Komuntale, married her boyfriend of two years, Christopher Thomas, in a colorful wedding ceremony at St. John’s Cathedral in Fort Portal. This is usually not news, except for the fact that the bride hid her identity from her beau until after their engagement. Speak of a true life version of Coming to America!

Ruth is the princess of the Toro Kingdom in Uganda and was in the United States pursuing a degree at American University in Washington, DC. It was there that she met and began dating her now-husband, Chris who had no idea who he was quickly falling in love with.

In Uganda, Ruth Komuntale’s life is constant fodder for the Ugandan tabloids and her face graces the covers of major newspapers and magazines. In the United States, however, she lived a quiet and cautious life.  The princess who volunteered at City Gate, an urban ministry in Washington, DC, has plans to establish her own charity in due time. AG wishes her well in her new marriage and future endeavors!

Another great article. Where is the husband from? What is his name? I hope being a goddess does not mean omitting the god..

Good job though. Keep up the good work.
