This Sunday, October 14, 2012, Ghana Global Professional Network (GhanaProNet) will host its inaugural luncheon and fundraising event from 12:30PM – 5:00PM at the Country Club at Woodmore, in Mitchellville, Maryland, and you’re invited. The inauguration will feature a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by a luncheon and fundraising event. There will also be an after-party later in the evening, and all Ghanaian professionals and friends of Ghana are invited to attend both events.

The event is expected to host over 100 guests, including entrepreneurs, development officers, business leaders, high profile individuals, and members of the Ghanaian professional community.

GhanaProNet is a non-profit organization which aims to provide individuals, entrepreneurs, non-profits and corporations in and outside Ghana with an avenue through which they can freely engage in social dialogue and networking opportunities. By providing such an avenue, GhanaProNet seeks to encourage the exchange of innovative ideas, and to become the channel through which selfless service and contributions towards the development of Ghana and its global citizenry will be realized. And their vision is one that should resonate with many; that vision is to attract even more dynamic, highly motivated and confident Ghanaian professionals, and friends of Ghana, who desire to engage in social discourse through meaningful friendships, partnerships and mentorship.
